A field of 18 riders benefited from near ideal conditions with 6 season bests and 3 personal bests being recorded. Dave Brown, the fastest rider of the evening with a time of 23:46 was only 4 seconds off his personal best. Linda Martin, on the other hand, achieved a personal best. Demetri Charos took off almost one minute to record his personal best of 24:43. The biggest round of appaluse appeared to go to Bob Giles who, in turning off the alarm on his heart monitor, achieved a season's best.
