This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

There were a number of great performances on this almost wind-free night in which 40 people improved upon or tied their previous 2006 OTT best 15km time. Senior rider Derrick St. John set the 2006 15km mark with his 19:26. Both he and Vet A rider Osmond Bakker (19:27) improved upon Derrick's previous 2006 OTT standard of 19:28. You may see the 2006 OTT set of sub-20:00 times by clicking here. For the women, Vet B rider Sue Schlatter (in her 43rd year) tied the best female time this year - Jennifer Stephenson's 22:01 set in the WTT series on 2006-Jun-20. You may see all of this years' women's results which are at least 40km/h by clicking here. As well, it is worth pointing out that Sue's time tonight sets a database best for 40-49 year old women, eclipsing Ellen Pazdzior's previous mark of 22:08 set in 1998 in her 41st year. You may click here to see all the VBF performances which are quicker than 23:00. Equally impressive, though were the performances in the VDM category, with THREE riders - Gary Romkey, Bram Moerman and Jacques Morvan - breaking 22:00! Gary Romkey moved the VDM All-time best down another 12 seconds to 21:30. Interestingly enough, after applying the current age-handicapping method, this would still not surpass Hermann Kerckhoff's 21:54 set in his 65th year in 2002. A special congratulations goes to Bram Moerman, the most prolific of the male time trialists, who, in his 62nd year, has done his first ever solo venture into the 21's!
