Due to COVID-19, this was the first time trial of 2020. It was run a little differently to keep than usual in order to keep the riders and volunteers safe. In particular, only 30 pre-registered riders were allowed, there was no holder, and the riders left in order of expected decreasing speed to try to avoid any passing. By the way, though Environment Canada reported considerable wind at the airport, the winds were calm on the race course - virtually non-existent.
