None of the top three women rode a season's best tonight. First place Claude Dréano (23:30) was 34 seconds slower than her season and database best of 22:56 which she set on 2011-Jul-19. This is the first time this season that Claude did not improve, and her good times are all the more impressive considering that she doesn't have any special aerodynamic equipment! Second place Alison Ingham was happy with her 23:45. This was her 2nd best 15km time thus far, 14 seconds slower than her 2011-Jul-26 15km database best of 23:31. Dianne Marleau (24:01), rounded out the top three, at a time which was 32 seconds than her season best of 23:29 and 1 minute and 2 seconds slwer than her 15km database of 22:59. Both teams - Annabelle and Kevin Murray with a 26% improvement in their cube speed, and Shiree Nowoselski and Brian Robitaille, fourth overall - however managed to improve upon their previous database best for 15km, as did Lisa Meyer (24:23) who was riding the OBC Cervelo. As well Jennifer MacDonald (28:52) managed to tie the database best which she first set on 2011-Jul-26. Congratulations to these and the eight entrants who tied or bettered their previous season-series best.

This year, thirty-three women did enough time trials to qualify for the WTT rankings. The rankings are based upon the rider's best five 2011 WTT finishes, with four of those having to be 15km time trials and the remaining time trial being either a 10km or 15km WTT time trial. (Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
