There was a little rain at the start and finish line, and it was cooler than ideal, but the air pressure was low, and this helped 11 entrants to achieve new database PBs. The most improved of these was hybrid rider Marion Chase (33:35) who took nearly 3 minutes off of her first attempt which she completed in 36:20. Marion improved her cube speed by more than 26%! Other top improvers were Minime (13-14 years old) male and female riders Connor Byway (23:22) and Jasmine Chase (27:00) who improved by almost 11%. As well, 19 entrants managed to better or tie their previous 2011 WTT 15km best, and most of the rest were within a few percentage points of their previous season series best. The most "unimproved" rider was myself, Celia McInnis, who, not to mention the wonderful distractions of the 2nd music festival this month, was riding her third time trial in as many days. I guess that makes a few excuses, and they sure felt like good ones!

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
