Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. On the start line we saw some dark skies with heavy rainfall to the southwest, but Geoffrey Wright, the most experienced in life amongst us, thought that the storms were moving mostly north and would miss us. Certainly the south gusts for at least the early departers were scarey (I abandoned the aero bars for more than a kilometer), but there was enough of a west wind that Geoffrey was wrong and most of us got a dunking. It was not a fast night for most, with 46 people riding slower than their season series best and a dozen of those riding at less than 90% of their 2013 OTT cube-speed best. Last week was a quick night, and looking at just the seven women who participated last week and tonight, only a Nia Byway improved. The men who participated both days fared better with 12 of 35 improving despite the more difficult conditions.
