Lots of fun tonight! The gods stopped the rain for the duration of the race (and seemed to calm the winds locally to much less than the 16km/h reported by Environment Canada), and Mary's continued expert road-cleaning meant that we didn't get too much mud in our faces from the wet roads. Special congratulations tonight go to Ingrid Krausbar, who at seven years of age (riding her 4th WTT Invitational), broke the 20km/h average speed mark in her 10km team time trial - sometimes even pulling her mom when she felt that the speed really could be higher! We'll all look forward to watching this young competitor enjoy sports as she grows. The other youths in the field were 13 year old Jason Hall, out for a first and fast time with his parents and Nikolas Krausbar, who though he's not yet 11 years old, is already a veteran of six WTT Invitationals and who has been doing impressively well individually in the Open Time Trial Series.
