Heavy rain and wild winds beforehand brought down trees along the Rideau River, and the winds and rain returned on the way home, but during the TT, the weather was great and so were the times. Of the 46 people who had already ridden a 2004 OTT event, we can see that 30 improved upon their year-series best. The fastest of the bunch tonight was Michael Nash with 19:27 - a PB by 49 seconds. This currently puts him at 5th of the fastest since 1998. Aaron Fillion, who had ridden so well in the Italian Festival Criterium on Sunday, was just eight seconds back. Aaron is the most prolific of the sub-20 people. For the women, Erika Revesz was out for her second TT of the year - and she had a PB by 6 seconds of 22:50. Here is the list of women's results in 2004 which are faster than 23 minutes.
