Due to heavy rainfall warnings, a notice of cancellation was posted on the club website, but the trusty volunteers showed up for any who'd still come. The two who did were sent out for a good tough workout against the elements - cool temperatures and gusty winds as well as rain. Junior rider Shawn Clarke, who had broken the 40km/h barrier for the first time two weeks ago, was 1:27 slower tonight. Minime rider Connor Lee, with a performance ratio of 88.88% to his previous 2004 OTT best, was only a minute off of his Aug 19 2004 time of 24:57. Good riding under very unfavourable conditions!
