This was a very nice, unseasonably warm evening and 38 riders came out to have a go at the final Thursday evening TT of 2004 (The remaining two OTT events of the season will occur on Saturday mornings Oct 2 and Oct 9 - registration 09:00-09:40). First place rider Glen Rendall did his second fastest OTT event of the season, 27 seconds slower than his extremely fast ride of July 29. The women were led by Natasha Elliott, who had her fourth fastest time of 2004, 16 seconds slower than her 2004 15km best at the June 15 WTT event. Actually, most were considerably slower than their season bests. Only 10 riders improved upon their previous OTT 2004 bests. The quickest of the improved was Craig Hawkes with a 17 second improvement upon his database best.
