Finally a night without south winds and this allowed 40 of the 60 who had ridden previously in the 2005 OTT series to better and one other to tie their previous 2005 OTT 15km best. In fact, if the 65 people who had previously ridden a OTT 15km race, 22 improved upon their previous OTT 15km database best while 2 tied their previous mark. Great riding by Michael Nash gave the fastest 15km ride yet this season. You may click here to see the top 10 male and female results for the 2005 OTT series. Amongst the excellent category performances were Stephanie Gould's 30:45 for 15km (which ranks her highly in the database PWF rankings), Mary Ajersch's 25:50 (which currently tops the VDF women's results for 2005), and Leona Gray's 26:08 (presently the OTT VCF series best for 2005). You may click here if you're curious who would win the RTTC-like handicapping event which was not quite well-defined in last year's version on 2004-Sep-02. Peter Mills, back riding time trials this year after a two year absence, would have come first, whereas Allen Cameron, for whom we have considerably more handicapping data, would be second.
