The low air pressure and the light breeze presented the participants with an opportunity for fast times, and of those solo or team/tandem combinations which had ridden earlier this season, 5 out of 7 improved. You may click here to see a date-ordered graph of the fastest three finishing times in each of the databased WTT Invitational Events. Sorting these by average speed of the top 3 finishers currently ranks tonight's event as the 7th fastest databased WTT event. You may be curious as well to see how much quicker/slower each team-member woman tonight was than her fastest individual 2005 time. Here is a graph, sorted by AvgSpd, which shows tonights TTT results and each woman team member's best 2005 15km time. I'll see if I can find a better way of sorting this, though it may be better to wait until I move to a more fully functional database (namely postgres)!
