This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

ABC Open TT Series - 2006-Sep-10 - 40km (Calabogie - Hwy 511) (EvtFactor= 0.9349)

Weather (08:30): Sunny. Temperature: 5°C, Wind: Light from the NW.

Chilly(5°C) but otherwise ideal conditions on Highway 511 once again beckoned our competitors in the final ABC 40k event of 2006. Twenty-four (Larry Burge and his eight-year old son Lewis rode a tandem) started, and twenty-three finished the 40 K time trial (Terry Hind DNF with a flat 9 km from finish). There were five Personal Best times, and Larry and Lewis Burge set a year best record for a 40 K time trial on a tandem bicycle in a time of 90:24, while Mary Ajersch set the year best for the VDF (females 60-70 years old) category.
