This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Six riders arrived at Union Hall for this last ABC time trial of 2009, and the conditions seemed to become more brutal by the minute. The Almonte temperature dropped from 17°C to 12°C, and the wind was gusting from 20-30km/h from the NW by the return leg. As well, there was some spitting rain part of the way back. Goodness, even the air pressure, however optimally low, was on the rise! Jacques may have been the smartest in forgetting his shoes and opting to volunteer instead of ride, though he was pretty chilled by the time Celia (who had expended lots of energy just getting to the event under constant rainfall, sinking into the soil of the very wet Trans Canada trail!) finally made it to the finish line. There were no personal best times set tonight, and in fact every one of us did our 2009 Tatlock Road personal worst! Still, we all enjoyed the ordeal and will be back for more fun next year! Thanks very much to John Warren for all his work and his dry (unlike the weather) comical result readout, Sherry Warren for her good humour at the turn around, Bob Woods for his excellent push-offs, and Jacques Morvan for staying to help the rest of us suffer.

Please consider coming to the ABC end-of-season dinner, to be held at Union Hall on Sat. Nov. 7.
