This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Dave McAuslan comments: "Eighteen riders arrived at Franktown Christian Academy parking lot to 16 - 19C temperatures, only light northeasterly breezes, and sunny conditions. All 18 riders finished. Eight riders completed the course in less than one hour. The fastest overall was Aaron Fillion in a time of 50:57, a new course record by 3 seconds better than his 2013 time. Fastest female was Calah Wright (Eurosport) in a time of 57:42 for a season best and new course record for females. Kelly Knowles previously held this record with a time of 59:35 set in 2013. Fastest male from ABC was Denis Mahoney in a time of 58:12, a time which includes re-installing a contact lens at the turn! In all there were 4 season best times and 7 course best times. Details are given below.

Good paved shoulders in both directions are now complete on this course. Because the marking at the turnaround was obliterated by the new paving, a new turnaround was marked using GPS with an attempt to hit a 40km distance on the head (many know that the version of the course used in May and June was 40.4km long). Paul Datars reported an odometer measured distance of 40.17km. Paul probably has his wheel circumference set correctly! The difference between Datars' measurement and the gps measurement could reflect the fact that, on curves in the road, the wheel measures the true curve circumference whereas gps approximates circumference with straight line segments.

Next 15k TT; meet at Union Hall, Tues., August 11 at 6:15 pm for a 6:30 pm start.

Our next 40k TT: Sunday, September 6; meet at Franktown Christian Academy parking lot; registration at 7:45 am with start at 8:15 am on CR 10 (Perth Road). Please call John Warren at 613 256 3195 or jsherry231@gmail.com before 6 pm Sat., September 5, to indicate intention to ride."
