John Warren comments: The threat of heavy rain did not deter 5 riders, all finished. The fastest this evening was Denis Mahoney (ABC) in a time of 20:55. A newcomer to our TT is Martin Deschamps. Dave McAuslan was the only rider to take advantage of ideal conditions and the adrenalin rush from thunder in the distance, with a SB time of 26:07. The heavens opened up 5 mins. after the last rider finished.
Next 15k TT is Tues. 21 July, meet at Union Hall at 6:45 for a 7:00 pm start. Time trials are open to all who have OCA coverage, or a UCI licence. Time Trials held in August will start 1/2 hour earlier, with 6:15 registration and a 6:30 pm start.
The next ABC 40k TT is this Sun. 9 Aug., meet at the Christian Academy parking lot in Franktown, 10 kms south of Carleton Place, at 7:45 am, registration from 7:45 to 8:00 am, with start shortly after.
