Six riders arrived at the start line to ok conditions: sunny, a 27C temperature, and a bit of a headwind coming back; 5 finished. Les Humphries encountered flat tires, and had to abandon. The fastest this evening was Larry Burge (OBC)in a time of 22:53. Fastest from ABC was Michael Coldwell in a time of 24:32. Fastest female was Anne-Marie Carter-McAuslan ABC in a time of 27:42 a Season Best time by 1 second.
The next 15km time trial is on September 8, 2015. Sign in will be at 5:30pm and the watch will start at 6:00pm.
The last ABC 40k TT is Sun. September 6, meet at the Christian Academy parking lot in Franktown, 10 km south of Carleton Place, at 7:45 am, registration from 7:45 to 8:00 am, with start shortly after. September 5th, to indicate your intention to do the 40k TT.
The Almonte Bicycle Club summer bbq will occur after this time trial starting around 11am at Dave and Anne-Marie's (503 Joseph Street, Carleton Place) and all club members and time trialists are welcome. There will be the the usual selection of animal protein and veggie hamburgers/sasauge/salads/etc; you could bring your beverage of choice.
