This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Congratulations to Brooke Boocock, in his first year as a senior rider, for his first sub-20 minute 15km time trial. Having hit 20:00 flat a couple of years back as a Junior racer, he made sure that he was well clear of the border this time! So far in the 2006 OTT series, there have been 14 male times faster than 45km/hr and 2 women's times faster than 40km/h. More quick women's times will occur if competitors such as Jennifer Stephenson can fit the OBC time trials into their busy race schedules. There were 10 female results faster than 40km/h last year, and certainly both Vet B Sue Schlatter and first-year Senior rider Sarah Coney are improving.

Concerning the rest of the riders, of the 59 who had previously ridden a 2006 OTT event, 25 improved upon or equalled their previous 2006 OTT best and 14 of those met or exceeded their previous database PB. Via the EventFactor rating, this day currently ranks as the second best OTT this season, a couple of percent lower than last week.
