With 16 riders, tonight was the biggest turnout yet this season for a WTT event, and the conditions were favourable. The top three women, Ellen, Kristin and Erika each exceeded 39km/hr, and 5 of the 7 who had ridden the previous WTT 10.89km (last week) improved upon their previous WTT 10.89km best time. Note the great ride by cadet rider (2nd year) Lindsay Anderson, who has had lots of success in triathlons. Note that her speed tonight is the fastest currently in my database for cadet females - and while we're talking about age category standings, Ellen's speed tonight is currently the fastest VCF speed in the database, and at 39.64km/h, she is certainly plotting a faster than 40km/h time. Note that at present, the top 8 VCF times have been this year on the Frank Kenny course by Ellen and Erika. Good Riding!
