TT Query

This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. OBC Women's TT Series - 2011-Jul-12 - 15km (Rockliffe Pkwy) (EvtFactor= 0.9268)

The fastest three of the night were Sophie Matte with 21:57, Erika Revesz with a season's best time of 22:43, and Claude Dréano with a new personal best of 23:09. Eight riders improved upon their previous 15km database best, with Myriam Burton posting the biggest improvement with a cube speed ratio of 1.0836 relative to her previous 15km best. Fourteen of thirty-four managed season-series 15km bests, and two of those who had only ridden WTT 10km events this year had phenomenal improvements in their previous 2011 fastest speed - namely Lori McKay with a 1.7709 cube speed ratio and Jane Morris with a 1.3737 cube speed ratio! Way to go! Note that the current personal and category ranking in the WTT series, which takes the average of the average speeds for the rider's best five WTT rides where four must be 15km times and the remaining one may be either a 10km or 15km time, can be seen by clicking the links found near the bottom of this page in the pink box with the "WTT Rankings for All Participants" label.

These results were posted on the OBC site circa 22:30 on 2011-Jul-12 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
