This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Thanks very much to Pedro Ibarra for taking most of these pictures - until I had to rush off with my camera to an orchestra rehearsal. Many thanks as well to all of the volunteers who run this event with such care! On my way to tonight's time trial, I came across OBC President Peter Tregunno sweeping a considerable amount of glass off the road at the 1km to go mark. Impressive service!

Fifty-four people (15 women and 39 men) came out to ride this final OBC Open Time Trial and nineteen improved upon earlier season-series bests. Better yet, fourteen people improved upon their previous 15km database best, and Sue Schlatter, though 38 seconds off of her all-time best of 19:40 (the Female Vet B record) reset the Vet C women's record by a few more seconds with her 20:18 time, good for 5th place overall! Aside from Sue, prominent in the top Vet C women's times is Robyn Angeles, who reset the VCF record a few times this year, and who was among the people with new 15km PBs. Also noteworthy in the Vet C women is Dianne Marleau's first entrance into the 40km/h+ club! Last but certainly not least amongst the night's strong women's results was Calah Wright's first sub 21 minute PB. Hot off of a bronze medal for the time trial (18.6km) in the 19-34 year old category at the world chamionships in Denmarck, Calah did 20:52 (43.131km/h) tonight. Way to go women. Amongst the men, first overall tonight was Joachim Toelke with 19:41 (45.724km/h), a new PB by 14 seconds. Way to go!

These results were first posted on the OBC web site circa 11:00 on 2015-Sep-19 with me in first place at 09:57, that is 90.45km/h - WOW! Alas the results were fixed by 15:00 on 2015-Sep-20 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.
