ABC Open TT Series - 2004-Aug-17 - 15km (Tatlock Rd) (EvtFactor= 0.9391)
Weather: Moderate temperatures and light winds.
Moderate temperatures and light winds produced a mixed bag of results for tonight's ten starters. Rick Collard, still smarting from an injury suffered racing for 4th place in the Kingston Triathlon, managed to equal his personal best, while Jamie Johnson came within seconds. Third placed Scott Smithson, unfazed by his efforts in Sunday's 40, managed to improve 12 seconds, while Dave McAuslan, sporting a new bike, posted a full minute improvement. Not to be outdone, wife Ann-Marie, without the benefit of a new bike, managed to improve 3 seconds. In 9th spot, with the second biggest improvement, Wendy Milford, cut 43 seconds off her previous best. Last but not least, Debra Thomas, although hobbling with a foot injury, still managed to finish within a minute of her season's best ride.
