This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Many felt that tonight's conditions were tougher than last week's, and surmised that the high air pressure might have been the reason. You may click here to see the weather conditions, the calculated EvtFactor, and the results for last week and this week. More interestingly, you may click here for the graph of the results for those who rode both nights. This shows that that 30 of these 41 people rode more slowly tonight than last week. This graph along with tonights lower EvtFactor support the view that the conditions were more difficult tonight than last week. All the more reason to praise the twelve riders who improved upon or tied their previous database bests! Special congratulations go to Jennifer Stephenson for setting the best 2005 Women's 15km time while bettering her PB from last year by 4 seconds, to Natasha Elliott for setting this year's SEF mark, to Mary Ajerch for taking 22 seconds off of the year's VDM best, new rider Andrew Lattimore for setting the best best MIM time for 2005, and, last but not least, to Chris Griffiths for breaking Hermann Kerckhoff's long-standing VDM record. Note that Chris is 5 years younger than Hermann was when Hermann set the previous record, so if our current age-handicapping method was applied, Hermann is still ahead by 24 seconds.
