The weather conditions likely deterred many of the potential competitors tonight, but some of us don't scare easily. As it was, though it rained on the way to and from the event, it was perfectly dry and relatively calm during the time trial. Still, apart from Kathy Bradley who hydroplaned to a 24:10 PB by 23 seconds, the other two of us were well off of recent times. Nancy, who was almost a minute off of last weeks PB, reported working hard like a hampster, while Celia claimed that non-aerodynamic dirt pasted to her bike and body from the wet commute to the time trial added minutes to her time!
