This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Weather (20:00): Mainly Sunny. Temperature: 20°C, Humidity: 44%, Dew point: 7°C, Wind: SE 5km/h, Pressure: 102.5kPa, Visibility: 24km.

Note that I offered to type these results into the OBC database first, but nobody had a copy of the software which is needed to do that! Hence, the results were first posted here circa 22:00 on 2008-Jun-12 so that riders would have access to the results soon after the event. Perhaps the OBC Board will reconsider my generous offers to provide WEB tt input software for the ottawabicycleclub.ca site and also software to download results from drmath.ca?

Tonight was a great night - sunny, warm and virtually no wind. Six men broke the 20 minute barrier, and one woman, Allison McKay was faster than 40km/h, despite going off the road at the start! Curiously enough, though, only half of the 60 people who had ridden earlier 2008 OTT events improved upon their times. Maybe it was fatigue from Rideau Lakes, or maybe the weather was so nice that others took the time to enjoy it! There were two improvements in the category database bests tonight - Andrew Lattimore's new Junior Male record of 19:57, and Paul Datar's Veteran C record of 19:47. Turn-around marshal Hermann also wanted to compliment the good behaviour of most participants at the turn around. He in particular singled out Peter Tregunno who acknowledged a motorist who waited for him to turn with a friendly and appreciative wave!
