OBC Open TT Series - 2009-Aug-13 - 10km (Rockliffe Pkwy) (EvtFactor= 0.9729)

These results were first posted on the OBC site circa 21:30 on 2009-Aug-13 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

Apart from higher than ideal air pressure, the weather was great, and so were the times. Out for his first try at the 10km course, Warren MacDonald, came in first at 12:15, taking 1 second off the the previous course record set by Aaron Fillion on 2009-Jul-16. You can look at the EvtFactor for these two days to see how they compare, or you can click here to see a graph of the results from those who rode both days. There were all kinds of category bests - Alex Cataford, second overall with a speed of more than 45km/h for the Cadet males, Colin Morewood, who had fun catching his dad, for the Junior males, Sophie Matte tied her earlier VAF record, Warren MacDonald for the VAM record, Jacques Morvan for the 60-70 year old category, Avery Burdett for the 70-80 catetgory, and Geoffry Wright for the 80-89 category. , Overall, 23 met or exceeded thir previous best OTT, while while 27 tied or improved upon their previous PB.

I trust that the latest threat of expulsion by the OBC Board will be withdrawn before they get themselves into trouble for violating my right of freedom of expression as protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It may even be time to suggest that the OBC Board actually follow the objectives laid out in the OBC constitution. Hey, this site promotes all of the OBC objectives, including, however unwittingly, the 3rd one, whereas the attempts by the OBC Board to prevent this offering violate objective 2.
