This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Nice weather drew out 65 cyclists and probably 30 in-line skaters tonight on the car-free parkway. Some dangerous situations were seen, but thank goodness no accidents occurred!

Congratulations to Allison McKay for not only being first amongst the women tonight, but for also topping the all-time list of female 10km performances in our database. Of the 10 women who we have previous 10km data for, 6 improved upon their previous database best, while 7 of 9 improved upon their 2009 May WTT 10km best. Including the males as well, 31 out of 56 riders bettered their previous 2009 fastest average speed, and 19 out of 58 improved upon their previous database fastest speed. For your curiousity, you may click here to see a graph showing the best 10km, 15km and 40km for tonight's riders.
