This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Twenty-nine women came out to enjoy the summer solstice on their bikes, and Sophie Matte was fastest in a season's best of 21:47. Dianne Marleau's second place finish of 23:29 was also a season's best, whereas third place Wendy Blagdon cube speed ranked at about 93% of her previous 2011 15km WTT performance of 23:23. Overall, 10 of the 23 who had ridden an earlier 2011 15km TT improved, with Sandra Bender being the most improved with her 25:53 giving a cube-speed ratio of 1.13 from her 26:58 last week. This is very good news - likely indicative of Sandra's good ongoing recovery, after several years, from a head injury sustained in a bicycle run-in with a van! Fantastic! It was also wonderful to have Erika Revesz back after her collection of concussions, the strangest one resulting from a row of desks which she was sitting on at the University of Ottawa detaching from the floor and falling backwards with Erika hitting her head on the floor! Erika was taking it really easy tonight, but with her high athletic aptitude, she managed 6th place with her time of 24:07. We hope that she continues to improve and that there are no more concussions! Note that five improved upon their previoius best database 15km PB. Lisa Tiffney with 31:11 was the most improved in this regard with a massive 55% improvement in her cube speed - nearly 5 minutes off of her her previous best of 36:06 in the Open Time Triallast 2010-Aug-05. Shiree Nowoselski improved her previous database best by almost 11%, Patricia Slaunwhite (enjoying her new bike), improved by almost 5%, Lesley Soper by 3.74%, and Veronique Boily upped her previous best cube speed by 1.87%. Congratulations all!

These results were posted on the OBC site circa 21:30 on 2011-Jun-21 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.

(Lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface, I wish to make it perfectly clear that I would gladly do the data entry, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as history shows that I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. The OBC Board however, not only won't let me volunteer here, but strangely enough they actually expelled me from the OBC for donating this time trial web site to you !)
