This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Dave McAuslan commented: "14 riders arrived at Franktown Christian Academy parking lot to sunny cool temperatures, high air pressure, and a noticable wind in the face on the way back. It appears that the Polar Front has returned to the Ottawa Valley. All riders finished. The fastest overall was Joachim Toelke (OBC) in a time of 57:14. Fastest female was Kelly Knowles (OBC) in a time of 61:32. Fastest male from ABC was Neil Farish in a time of 63:05. Fastest female from ABC was Diane Marleau in a time of 69:17, an improvement of 36 seconds over her July time. Most improved on the day was Martin Skody who took 3:45 off his July time."

Celia adds: When handing out the numbers beforehand, there was no wind, and the ever-optimistic organizer John Warren indicated "ideal conditions". Four of us continued to believe in him, despite the high air pressure and ever increasing winds, and attained season series bests. Martin Skody was out on a new bike and posted a huge cube speed improvement of 15.30%, while Celia McInnnis credited her 14.72% improvement to no more lilac smells and the excellent work on her very tight hips by Chinese practitioner Dr Sun and ART chiropractor Dr Colin Campbell (not the rider). Dianne Marleau and Ian Austen posted smaller improvements of 2.62% and 1.45% through hard work. Here is a graph showing how today's riders did throughout the 2014 ABC 40km series and here are the results of all participants throughout the 2014 ABC 40km series. Many thanks to the ABC volunteers who make this series happen.
