Most of us got a bit of a surprise when we left work/school/home to come to tonight's WTT. Environment Canada had advertised temperatures remaining balmy until midnight, but instead the cold front moved through at about 17:00 with the gusty winds changing from the SouthWest to the NorthWest. Well at least tonight's NWN winds are more advantageous on this course than the WSW ones we had last week, and this is seen in the results for those who rode both of these windy weeks. Still (or not!), the gusts were scarier this week than last, with some of us even unclipping from our pedals when we were hit by unsettling blasts of air from the side. Here is a graph showing how tonight's riders have done thus far in the 2015 WTT series. Alexandra wins the prize for sharing the road with the most cars at the turn-around - a string of nine behind her!
