TT Query

This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

ABC Open TT Series - 2008-Aug-10 - 40km (Calabogie - Hwy 511) (EvtFactor= 0.9736)

Weather (08:00): Cool and Cloudy. Temperature: 14°C, Wind: Light wind from the East.

Cool temperatures, and a light headwind greeted 20 riders at the Calabogie Boat Launch parking lot. The conditions contributed to some excellent times. Fastest overall was Michael Nash in a time of 53:05 which is just 21 seconds slower than his Course record time of 52:44. Fastest female was Cynthia Wilson, a minute and 22 seconds slower than her previous attempt, in a time of 63:21. Fastest from the ABC was Scott Smithson in a time of 70:40; his first 40k TT for 2008, and a Personal Best time. Fastest female from ABC was Kathleen Milne in a time of 75:38; also a Personal Best time. Overall, six riders improved upon their previous bests on this course. One rider, David Martin, Did Not Finish due to a flat tire at the turn.
