John Warren recounted: "Seven riders arrived at Union Hall to a 27C temperature, clear conditions, and no breeze; this was preceded by intense rain and lightning! All riders finished. Fastest rider was Shawn Hamilton ABC with a personal best time of 23:50. Fastest female was Anne-Marie Carter-Mcauslan (ABC) with a time of 27:00. Denis Tang rode a respectable 35:50 after an absence of 2 years."
Additional comments from Celia: "Note that Shawn Hamilton, new to time trialling this year, was the only rider to better either his previous 2010 ATT 15km best or his previous 15km database best on this course, and his improvement in both of these regards was 2.75%. As well I'd like to point out the excellent time of Minime rider Timothy Austen in his first try on this course. Only Alex Cataford had faster MIM times. Alex had had lots of experience on this course before he set his quicker times, so it will be interesting to see how Timothy improves if he does the course several more times."
