Bright skies, warm temps, and a light breeze welcomed 19 riders tonight to greet the starter, John Warren. A following wind on the homeward leg helped all performances. 14 year old, Alex Cataford placed 4th, behind the likes of Rick Sudac, Gary Romkey and Jamie Johnson. Rick Sudac was the fastest at 21:52, only 42 seconds off his 21:20 from last year. Jamie Johnson has returned after an absence of 2 years, and John Barton returned after an absence of 9 years. Scott Smithson and daughter Kelsey Smithson finished 7th on a tandem. Fastest female was Carrie McCallum in 6th place. Two new first timers, Derek McDowell came 18th, and Linda Wallace finished 19th. All six of those who had ridden last week improved, and five riders improved upon their previous database best 15km time trial. There appear to be 7 Personal Best times this evening, with Gary Romkey matching his PB set in 2005.
