It was on and off the bike 10 times today.
I came across a roadkill bunny. I couldn't bring myself to kick the bloody fly infested carcass into the ditch. Luckily I found a board in the ditch to help with the removal.
I removed a squished articulated hose,
Kicked off numerous pieces of broken pavement
Worst job was to remove the dried out clods of clay from three sections of shoulder. On Monday, the mower tractor was cutting the grass in the ditch. In a few areas where the tractor moved back onto the pavement (because of metal barriers) it brought with it chunks of clay and grass. These in turn dried out, were run over by automobiles, and stuck to the pavement. It would have been hazardous during a fast time trial.
