Mary Ajersch's S.S. & C.K.O (Street Sweeper and Carcass Kicker Offer) Report - 2004 Jul 6

Hi Celia,

It was a busy morning yesterday. I was on and off my bike nine times to remove the following:

Many chunks of pavement both large and small, One 6 ft x 8 in piece of aluminum. Can't figure out what it was before it was flattened, but the price tag from Canadian Tire indicated it cost $3.99. One roadkill squirrel.

I also stopped to chat with the crew that were patching the road with asphalt. I asked them very nicely if they could patch up two areas that weren't marked with orange paint. These holes were directly on the white line. I offered to go back and spray paint the areas with paint; however, the gentleman couldn't find the can of orange spray. During the TT, I noticed one hole near P8 parking lot was patched , but the other one further down after the overpass was not. Perhaps they'll repair it when they finish the rest of the road.

Bye for now,

Mary
