Only 10 women came out to race tonight, and one didn't finish, after, shall we say, hitting "rock-bottom", or at least a rock after half a kilometer or so. Most of the remaining nine had significant improvements over earlier attempts at this distance in the WTT 2007 series. Note that with the wind having a north component tonight, this was the first time that it was harder and slower on the return leg of the time trial. The general impression from the riders was that this was favourable for better times.
