This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

ABC Open TT Series - 2008-Jul-15 - 15km (Tatlock Rd) (EvtFactor= 0.9159)

Weather (18:45): Sunny. Temperature: Warm, Wind: Breezy.

A warm breezy evening brought a dozen riders out to answer the timekeeper's call. In the absence of Ottawa's fastmen, it was the turn of the younger generation, in the shape of cadet. Alex Cataford to lead the way. Alex finished over 3 minutes clear of his closest rival, with a 21 minute ride, his fastest performance on this course. New to this course. Ottawa's Florence Laplante-Lamarche, emerged third in the pack, finishing first female with a short, 25 minute ride. Second female, Carrie McCallum, mother of Alex, posted a short 26 minute rode to place sixth, good preparation for rhe upcoming ironman triathlon in Lake Placid. Third female, Katleen Milne posted her season's fastest, to finish eighth overall. Michael Coldwell, returning to competition after a long hiatus, posted a creditable 25 minute first ride to place second. Fourth placed Quinton Sweeney, improved more than a minute from last week to finish 13 seconds shy of his personal best. Despite a last minute decision to ride, fifth placed Dave McAuslan improved 28 seconds to post his season's fastest. Close behind Carrie McCallum, John Brewster, fresh from the Graham Beasley triathlon in Carleton Place, posted a 26 minute season opening ride.
