It seemed to be fashion night at the TTs tonight - new socks and shoes, pink bike trim, pink dress shirt, and removable decorations that might have served as wind-farings. Lots of fun! Though it was not a fast night, judging by the Event Factor which is currently (relative to the earlier OTT events of 2013) measured at .9437, there were some excellent times amongst the 89 results! The most noteworthy was Minime rider Nia Byway's 23:47 (37.842 km/h) - a 1.69% improvement in the previous database category best for the Minime (13-14 years old) Females - and Nia will still be in this class next year! A great big congratulations, Nia! Kudos also to the young (cadet and junior) Male team consisting of her brother Connor Byway (CAM), Derek Gee (CAM) and Jermie Lacasse (JUM). Their 18:47 time (47.915km/h) was only 3 seconds slower than the current all-time best team timer trial time of 18:44 by Paul Datars and Warren MacDonald. Congratulations also to the ten people who posted new database personal bests for 15km and to the 19 people who improved upon their best OTT result of 2013.
