This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

Though riders faced a pretty tough east wind on the way out, the lower than average air pressure was helpful, and some fantastic times resulted. There were two new category records tonight - Connor Byway who turns 16 in September did 19:14 (46.794km/h) thus taking 20 seconds off of the previous Male Cadet mark which was set by Derek Gee two weeks ago, while Matteo Dal-Cin (18:39 which is 48.257km/h) took one second off of the long-standing Senior Male record of 18:40 which Gord Fraser set on 1995-Jun-22! Both Connor and Matteo also set sizable personal 15km database bests, as did 16 others. Note that the top two improvers, Keith Evans (25:15) and Kevin Massicotte (19:56) with cube-speed improvements of 49.42% and 24.91%, were only doing their second OBC time trial, and Kevin indicated that part of his improvement tonight was due the fact that last week he had a flat tire a kilometer from the end! Finally, 44 out of the 70 finishers who had ridden an earlier 15km event in the OBC Open Time Trial Series posted improvements in their previous 2013 OTT best. Way to go all!

These results were posted on the OBC site circa 22:30 on 2013-Jun-13 and are available here for your added pleasure and analysis.
